ADDED VALUE

Going beyond grant-funding to further support the work of our partners in charity, education, leather, and the City of London
Our Added Value Programme is about looking at what else we can do to improve the experience of our grantees. Here are some of the ways we do this.

Conversational reporting
Having conversations instead of requesting written reports, reduces the burden on our charity partners and allows us to have an open and trusting conversation about the issues important to them, and learn how we can best support their work.

Transparency
We provide open and transparent data about all main and small grants given via 360 Giving, and publishing full grant criteria, assessment priorities and timelines for funding rounds.

Link & Learn
Link & Learn is an event we hold annually to bring together grantees to connect and overcome challenges through collaboration and shared learning.
Now in its third year, funded charity partners are welcomed to our Hall. Led by the needs of our grantees, we aim to cover topics that have real-world benefit, from diversifying funding and application writing to navigating sustainability projects.

Events
We regularly host our partners at Leathersellers’ Hall in the heart of the City of London, from school governors’ meetings to charity partners’ staff training and fundraising events. The cost of these are funded in whole or in part by the Leathersellers’ Company, seeking to maximise the support we can give to our partners to achieve impact through their work.
